Cadence Design Systems, Inc. has released the Cadence Fast Ethernet Controller IP Family, the new controller family provides different aggregation bandwidths for 100G, 200G, 400G, and 800G Ethernet.Optimized for PPA, Low Latency, High Speed Controller IP Expanding its Portfolio of Ethernet Controller IP for Next Generation Cloud, AI/ML and 5G Ideal for a wide range of Ethernet applications in infrastructure. Also in the 7nm, 5nm and 3nm process nodes, together with the Cadence SerDes PHY IP, a total of up to 800G Ethernet subsystem solutions are allowed.
Silicon is proven in AI/ML customer applications, and the integrated subsystem provides the best PPA. Also along with its leading 112G/56G and other Ethernet SerDes PHY IP, the company offers complete subsystems delivering integrated PHYs and controllers, allowing customers to facilitate integration and simplify their SoC designs.
