Kemet's high-performance automotive-grade polymer electrolytic capacitors. The KO-CAP T591 series provides stability and durability under harsh humidity and temperature conditions. New products in this series include up to 50V options for 12V and 24V power rails. KO-CAP combines the low ESR of multilayer ceramics, the high capacitance of aluminum electrolysis, and the volumetric efficiency of tantalum into a surface mount package. Unlike capacitors based on liquid electrolytes, KO-CAP has a very long service life and high ripple current capability. Special improvements in design and materials have been introduced to provide 1,000 hours of working time at 85C / 85% RH / VR and are fully compliant with AEC-Q200 qualification tests. T598 is produced in an ISO TS 16949 certified factory and is subject to PPAP / PSW and change control.
